Third-kit release date confirmed

The new Manchester United and adidas third kit for 2025/26 will be released on Tuesday 12 August.

Its unveiling will add extra excitement to a week that has long been ringed in the diary, as United’s Premier League campaign gets under way.

The Reds host Arsenal at 16:30 BST on Sunday 17 August, at the start of another term.

There’s plenty of intrigue surrounding Ruben Amorim and his squad, following a strong pre-season showing so far.

The Reds beat Bournemouth and West Ham in the United States, registering victories in our new home and away strips, which were released during June and July respectively.

We then drew with Everton to claim the Premier League Summer Series title over the pond.

New arrivals Matheus Cunha, Diego Leon and Bryan Mbeumo have bedded in well and a final friendly date, against Fiorentina, awaits before the showdown with the Gunners signals the start of the season proper.

Kit releases are always highly anticipated, and the maiden sighting of the third strip should be no different.
