Manchester United won the Premier League Summer Series by drawing 2-2 with Everton but which Red was Man of the Match?

Our fans voted in big numbers, as always, in the United App to decide which player was most deserving of the individual award.

Bruno Fernandes came out on top with 41 per cent, reflecting his contribution in Atlanta.

The captain scored the opening goal from the penalty spot, stroking his effort wide of England no.1 Jordan Pickford, and supplied the assist for Mason Mount’s beautiful strike in the second half.

Mount was in the running himself, with one gorgeous pass to Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu creating our best attempt at a winner in the closing stages, but had to settle for joint-second spot.

This was shared with Amad, who also polled 13 per cent, as the Ivory Coast international was bright at both wing-back and further up the field, following the substitutions, as the game wore on.

Leny Yoro enjoyed a fine Tour 2025 presented by Snapdragon and he was fourth, narrowly ahead of debutant Bryan Mbeumo, who only played the first half as he works his way to full fitness.

“Our performance wasn’t the best off the ball,” Fernandes told NBC Sports afterwards. “We were a little bit lazy and we have to avoid that because [with] the laziness, you can pay at any moment.

“It’s improving. It’s not where we want it to be. I don’t want to have a dig at anyone but I think the club is doing the best they can in terms of all the financial situations they talk about.

“I don’t know about it [the transfer market], I’m not involved in that. But, obviously, it was crystal clear we needed more competition for the players that were here. We needed more quality to get everyone to step up a bit more, to have to do more to get into the starting XI.

“I think that’s what the club and the manager are trying to do and, hopefully, we can get one or two players more to help with that.”

MAN-OF-THE-MATCH WINNERS ON TOUR 2025

West Ham United (2-1) : Bruno Fernandes.
