Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for a new striker this summer.
Rasmus Hojlund has led the line for the Red Devils for the past couple of years but he is far from the finished product and his inconsistency has not allowed the club to thrive from a sporting sense during this period.

Make no mistake, Hojlund definitely has the talent to play for a club like Man Utd and has shown promise in flashes but he needs time to develop into a reliable goalscorer.
Currently, he is being tasked with leading the line for arguably one of the toughest clubs in the world and it isn’t helping him.
The blame has to fall on the Red Devils who should have thought this out and ensured that a signing like Hojlund was made with another experienced striker already in the squad.
Regardless, this is a situation that Man Utd are looking to address in the transfer market this summer.
Man Utd told asking price for Sesko
Now, as per Diario Sport, Man Utd have been told that a fixed fee between £61m-£69m (70-80 million euros) is needed to convince RB Leipzig to sell Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko this summer.
Moreover, in add-ons, the German side require around 5-10 million euros. The young number nine has caught the eye with his performances in the Bundesliga in recent seasons.
Sesko has a lot of raw talent and reminds one a lot of a young Erling Haaland back when he was breaking through at RB Salzburg. The 22-year-old might not be experienced at the Premier League level but whatever he has shown so far offers a lot of promise to the future.
Newcastle United are also interested in Sesko as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak. However, both English clubs have alternatives lined up should they miss out on the Leipzig number nine. The Red Devils have Ollie Watkins and the Magpies have Nicolas Jackson on the list.
Common sense would suggest that Man Utd must sign Watkins and have Hojlund learn from his presence but Sesko is arguably one of the biggest young talents coming through and at the price that he is available at, the potential upsides are massive for the Red Devils.
Ultimately, this is a very difficult situation for Christopher Vivell & co. to handle. Sesko would be a good addition to Amorim’s team but there is the danger of his turning out into another Hojlund.
Watkins on the other hand offers immediate security but cannot be a long-term option. Let’s wait and see what the decision makers at Old Trafford think of the same.
