Manchester United are said to be scuppering Juventus’ pursuit of primary forward target Randal Kolo Muani.
Previously, the Serie A giants believed they had a free run at making the striker’s move permanent this summer in the aftermath of his stellar half-season loan spell.
That was until United entered the mix for Muani amidst their ongoing search for a prolific No.9 to add to Ruben Amorim’s ranks.

Numerous outlets in recent weeks have credited the Red Devils with interest in Muani, to the point that Juventus have now acknowledged United’s ‘threat’ and are working tirelessly to try and reach an agreement as swiftly as possible.
Gazzetta claims United are making ‘dangerous moves’ in pursuit of the 26-year-old, who departed Paris Saint-Germain in January in hopes of reviving his stagnant career with the Turin outfit – and that he did.
Muani went from making just two starts and scoring two goals in all competitions for PSG in 2024/2025 to making 19 starts and notching 10 goals; two of which came in the Club World Cup.
His revitalised showings prompted United to revive their interest in the French international, whom compatriot Kylian Mbappe once hailed as a ‘complete’ player.
Reds prepare to reignite Muani pursuit
United were first linked with Muani back in 2023 when he had established himself as one of Europe’s hottest prospects after becoming Eintracht Frankfurt’s talisman. However, the club ultimately opted against submitting a bid, instead going all-out for Rasmus Hojlund and agreeing a £72 million package to sign him from Atalanta.
Meanwhile, PSG forked out £62.5m to sign the frontman from Eintracht while pledging a further £12.2m in add-ons.
Luis Enrique’s scintillating attacking contingent has meant there’s little to no room for Muani to stake his claim for a starting spot, prompting PSG to part ways prematurely by making him available for sale this summer.
