Nominations are now open for the 2025 Fan of the Year, named after the late Ian Stirling.
Do you know a fellow supporter who goes above and beyond for the club, the fan base or the United community? We want to hear from you!
United supporters are invited to submit nominations for their fan of the year to win the prestigious Ian Stirling Award.
This award was established in 2023 in tribute to the late Ian Stirling, who sadly passed at the aged of 57. Ian was a steadfast, lifelong Red, valued fan representative on the Fans’ Forum and Fan Advisory Board and covering ISLO representative for Manchester United Supporters’ Trust.

To honour his legacy, this award recognises an individual who epitomises what it means to be a Red via their dedication, commitment and contributions to helping the United fan base.
Last year, Joe Glanville of Malta Supporters’ Club accepted the award following his incredible zeal promulgating United verse and chapter across the globe, connecting with thousands of fans, and his work preserving the memory of the Busby Babes.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR FAN OF THE YEAR
Supporters can nominate by simply filling in the form here along with a supporting statement detailing why this person should be honoured as the 2025 Fan of the Year.
The deadline for submissions is 23:59 BST on Monday 16 June and the winning supporter will be announced shortly after.
