Galatasaray prepared to save career of United flop who could find himself in embarrassing spot this summer – report

Galatasaray are the latest club to show interest in handing Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho a career lifeline.

Sancho left United for Chelsea last summer in a season-long loan deal. After a promising start at Stamford Bridge, the Englishman lost his spark under Enzo Maresca.

In 2025, Sancho has scored just once in the Premier League. In total, he has notched four goals in 40 appearances for the London outfit.

Chelsea are obligated to sign the winger permanently at the end of the season, but they have an option to opt out of the agreement by paying a £5 million penalty.

Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming the Blues are considering backing out of the deal. This has led to interest from Bayer Leverkusen.

Galatasaray interested in Jadon Sancho

Now, according to a report in Turkish outlet Haber Sarikirmizi (via Sport Witness), Galatasaray are showing interest in Sancho.

It is claimed the Super Lig leaders are keeping an eye on his situation as they look to strengthen their attack ahead of next season.

Gala’s right winger Barış Alper Yılmaz is on the radar of several Premier League clubs.

It is understood that Sancho, who is capable of playing on both flanks, would be an option for the Turkish giants should Yılmaz leave this summer.

If Chelsea send the England international back to Old Trafford, United would hope to attract interest from several clubs to resolve Sancho’s future.

Despite United’s struggles going forward, the ex-Dortmund man is not expected to be included in Ruben Amorim’s first team plans next season.

The Red Devils are in the market for a new attacker and have been strongly linked with Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen, whose loan stint in Turkey ends this summer.
