Pundit predictions: Who will start at Bournemouth?

Manchester United return to Premier League action this weekend with a trip to the south coast to face Bournemouth.

As head coach Ruben Amorim has admitted himself, there will certainly be half an eye on Thursday’s Europa League first-leg meeting with Athletic Club, but our contest at the Vitality Stadium is the primary focus for now.

That’s how MUTV pundit and Reds icon Sammy McIlroy sees the 14:00 BST kick-off going at the Vitality Stadium.

The former forward is throwing everything behind Garnacho making the difference against Andoni Iraola’s side, and it’s easy to see why, with the Argentina international boasting two goal involvements in his last three outings.

McIlroy sees Academy theme continuing, lining Harry Amass up for his third Premier League start and tipping fellow Carrington graduate Kobbie Mainoo to be given the nod from the beginning for the second consecutive game – all on the way to three points for Amorim’s men on Sunday afternoon.
