Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim is crying out for a ruthless finisher ahead of his first full season in charge given the form of both Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
The Dutchman has impressed in an attacking midfield role, which suits his strengths but the Dane does not look capable of leading the line on his own.
The Portuguese tactician would prefer a move for his Sporting CP protege Viktor Gyokeres but the Swede seems intent on playing in the Champions League next season, something that is not guaranteed at Old Trafford at the moment.
Victor Osimhen is the next big name on the list but his asking price and humongous wage demands have meant no concrete approach has taken place thus far.
New name in the mix
It is well known that the Red Devils are going through a financial crisis at the moment and if they can move on multiple players, there might be enough cash to go after one of the aforementioned duo.
In any case, the 20-time English league champions are keeping alternatives ready with Football Transfers rather surprisingly adding Schalke 04 forward Moussa Sylla’s name to the list.
The 25-year-old has impressed for the German side, netting 13 times in 20 starts, but he is currently playing in the second division of Germany.
Surely United can do better than the Malian, who has played for Monaco, FC Utrecht and SM Caen in the past. It was his performances for Ligue 2 side Pau FC last season that earned him a move to Gelsenkirchen.
He is represented by super agent Rafaela Pimenta who has been offering his services to all leading clubs across Europe as she looks to get her client a move back to the big leagues.

“We are told that Pimenta is offering her client to a host of clubs around Europe to gauge their interest in potentially signing him. The agent is leaving no stone unturned and has even approached the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.”
A move to Old Trafford seems a step too far currently and even though INEOS are hard-pressed for cash, they still have better options in Liam Delap and Dusan Vlahovic just to name a few.
