As we enter a new year, here are 2025’s key dates for all Manchester United fans to mark in your calendars.

JANUARY

1 — Men’s and women’s transfer windows open

11/12 — Men’s FA Cup third round

12 — Women’s FA Cup fourth round

30  — Women’s transfer window closes

30 — Europa League phase concludes

31 — Draw for Europa League knockout phase play-offs

Ruben Amorim in United Review says

FEBRUARY

3 — Men’s transfer window closes

6 — 67th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster, remembrance ceremonies to be held at Old Trafford and in Munich

8 — Men’s FA Cup fourth round

9 — Women’s FA Cup fifth round

13 & 20 — Europa League knockout phase play-offs

17-26 — Women’s international break

21 — Draw for Europa League round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals

MARCH

1 — Men’s FA Cup fifth round

6 & 13 — Europa League round of 16

9 — Women’s FA Cup quarter-finals

12 — National League Cup (U21s) quarter-finals

17-25 — Men’s international break

21 March-8 April — Women’s international break

29 — Men’s FA Cup quarter-finals

APRIL

2 — National League Cup (U21s) semi-finals

10 & 17 — Europa League quarter-finals

13 — Women’s FA Cup semi-finals

22  — U18 Premier League Cup final

23 — National League Cup (U21s) final

26 — Men’s FA Cup semi-finals

26 — Premier League 2 (U21s) play-offs begin

MAY

1 & 8 May — Europa League semi-finals

17 — Men’s FA Cup Final

17 — Premier League 2 (U21s) final

17 — U18 Premier League national final

18 — Women’s FA Cup final

21 — UEFA Europa League final (Bilbao)

26 May-3 June — Women’s international break

Our Men’s FA Cup defence begins with a trip to Arsenal on 12 January. The 2025 final is on 17 May.

JUNE

2-10 — Men’s international break

Unknown: Premier League fixtures announcement for the 2025/26 season
While we have no set date for the release of next season’s fixtures, this normally occurs in the middle of June. In 2024, the schedule was published on Tuesday 18 June, having come out on Thursday 15 June the year prior.

JULY

2-27 — Women’s Euro 2025 (Switzerland)

Many Reds could compete at this summer’s European Championship. Grace Clinton, Maya Le Tissier and Ella Toone have all recently been involved with England, who are defending their title in Switzerland. Dominique Janssen (Netherlands), Celin Bizet, Lisa Naalsund, Elisabeth Terland (all Norway), Mared Griffiths, Hayley Ladd and Safia Middleton-Patel (all Wales) have also represented their qualified nations in recent months.

12 July-2 August 2025 — Copa America Femenina (Ecuador)

Geyse, with 56 caps to her name already, will hope to be involved with Brazil, the reigning champions and eight-time winners of the competition.

Unknown: WSL fixture release for 2025/26 season.
As with the Premier League, there is no date set for the WSL fixture announcement, but this has usually been in mid-July.

Grace Clinton and Maya Le Tissier are two of many Reds who could be at major international tournaments this year.

AUGUST

16 — Premier League season begins

SEPTEMBER

1-9 — Men’s international break

Unknown: Women’s Super League begins for 2025/26 season.
We’re yet to have a start date for next season’s WSL, but it will likely be in September. In 2024, the league’s key dates were announced in February, so we should know soon.

OCTOBER

6-14 — Men’s international break

20-29 — Women’s international break

We’ll hear much more about the Old Trafford Regeneration Project during 2025, too.

NOVEMBER

10-18 — Men’s international break

24 November-2 December 2025 — Women’s international break

DECEMBER

21 December 2025-18 January 2026 — 2025 Africa Cup of Nations

Andre Onana (Cameroon), Amad (Ivory Coast) and Noussair Mazraoui (Morocco) could be competing for their nations at the Africa Cup of Nations, which continues into 2026.
