2 goals, 3 key passes: High-flying United star continues magical December with stunning brace for loan club

Improved form Hojlund began his spell in Italy very well, scoring on his debut. Nonetheless, he struggled over the autumn period, suffering a significant goal drought. December has been a fine month for the Dane though, as he scored twice against Juventus and once against AC Milan in the title race. Such has been his form that Italian legend Christian Vieri labelled him one of the top five strikers in the world at the moment. Cremonese match The United striker continued his fine December with a brace versus Cremonese, sending Napoli within one point of AC Milan at the top of the table. Hojlund added Napoli’s opening goal after 13 minutes with a strike from close range. On the stroke of half-time, Hojlund showed great striker’s instinct to fire in his second of the match into the bottom corner. In a dangerous showing, he had a total of five shots on goal, with three hitting the target. He also made three key passes in the match and completed 100% of his crossing attempts. Hojlund also contributed defensively, winning four ground duels for his side to help keep a clean sheet in their 2-0 away win. He will next be in action away to SS Lazio on 4th January, hoping his strong December continues into 2026.
