Mazraoui played 82 minutes of Morocco’s 1-0 win over Mozambique in World Cup qualifying. The United full back provided the key assist for the Moroccans only goal of the game. He laid the ball off for Azzedine Ounahi, who unleashed a fine, curling effort into the bottom corner of the goal. He did make 88% of his passing attempts though as the hosts enjoyed the lion’s share of possession. The youngster assisted his nation’s goal in the 20th minute against Montenegro. Unfortunately, they would go on to lose the match 1-2. He picked up the ball in the middle of the park and expertly spun out of trouble. He ran at the defence and played a sumptuous through ball that was finished off by Liam Jessop. Scanlon made 79% of his passes as he played the entire match. He also won his only tackle and four out of his seven ground duels on a competitive night of action. Amad Amad played 62 minutes of the Ivory Coast’s 0-1 friendly defeat to Saudi Arabia. He had a glorious chance to grab an equaliser for his side in the first half when the keeper parried the ball out to him. He took a touch but got underneath it as he disappointingly skied the chance over the bar. The 23 year old also had another decent opening in the second half but could only lift his effort onto the top of the net.
