Habeeb Ogunneye The fullback endured a disappointing night as Newport County fell to a 0-1 defeat to Exeter City at home in the Football League trophy. He played 72 minutes in the match but did not have any shots on target. Ogunneye was also weak defensively, as he failed to make any interceptions, clearances or blocked shots during the match. The 20 year old did manage to win three of his four ground duels though. He did not compete in any aerial battles however. From an attacking perspective he only attempted one cross but he did find a teammate with it. What’s more, he also completed 83% of his passes. The fullback failed to complete any dribbles in the match as he was ineffective in both attack and defence. Newport County find themselves rooted to the bottom of League Two and will travel to Shrewsbury Town this Saturday afternoon looking for a valuable three points. Ethan Ennis ´ Ennis played 45 minutes of Fleetwood Town’s 3-3 draw with Port Vale in the Football League Trophy. He had one shot that was blocked during normal time but he did convert a penalty in his side’s shootout victory. Ennis completed 100% of his passes in the game but it must be said that he only attempted eight. The youngster also made an interception and completed one tackle in the game. He also won one ground duel and lost his only aerial battle. Fleetwood and Ennis will next be in action at home to Swindon Town on Saturday afternoon.
