Why Alexandre Lacazette was frustrated during Arsenal’s loss to Everton

Arsenal downed by Everton This week’s Monday Night Football saw Arsenal and Everton face off in the final match of gameweek 15.

Amid Everton’s torrid run of form, it was expected that Arsenal, whose main issue has been against the big sides this campaign, would dispatch the Toffees with relative ease.

However, when all was said and done at Goodison Park, it would be Rafa Benitez and co. who came away with all three points.

Martin Odegaard did hand Arsenal the lead in first-half injury time:

However, late strikes for Demaria Gray and Richarlison ensured that Everton won the match 2-1.

Why Lacazette was frustrated Following the game, an insight into one Arsenal man’s frustration on the evening has been provided.

That man is Alexandre Lacazette, who offered little on the day and often cut an isolated figure up top.

Now, as per football.london, Lacazette could be seen waving Kieran Tierney up the pitch on several occasions, clearly frustrated at his team’s inability to get the ball forward quick enough:

The Frenchman starved of service and clearly wanted his teammates to get up and support him in more advanced areas. On multiple occasions he could be seen waving Kieran Tierney up the pitch, clearly frustrated at the fact that his team weren’t getting the ball forward quick enough.
