Video: How Man United’s Paul Pogba injured himself in France training

Concerns will no doubt be spreading like wildfire at Manchester United on Monday, after Paul Pogba was forced to pull out of training with the French national team.

Rashford an early dropout Midfield standout Pogba is of course just one of a host of Red Devils stars to have departed Manchester over the last 24 hours.

This comes as the latest round of 2022 World Cup qualifiers lie in wait, in the 3rd international break of a jam-packed opening to the 2021/22 campaign.

Initially, a considerable 12 members of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s star-studded United panel were called upon by their respective nations last week.

These players came in the form of: Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford, Fred, Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba, Diogo Dalot, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay, Victor Lindelof and David de Gea.

However, one of the aforementioned stars – in the form of Marcus Rashford – opted to pull out of England duty earlier today, in a bid to build up his fitness on the back of a lengthy recent spell on the sidelines.

Pogba blow? And now, just hours later, concerns have begun to spread regarding the wellbeing of another member of the Red Devils’ squad.

The player in question? Paul Pogba.

As showcased in the footage below, after lining up a strike from the edge of the area during a training session with Didier Deschamps’ France squad this evening, midfield standout Pogba immediately pulled up in pain.

The 28-year-old was subsequently forced to limp out of the session, with what has since been identified as a right thigh problem.

It now remains to be seen whether Pogba, who was of course absent for Manchester United’s derby defeat at the weekend owing to suspension, faces any kind of significant spell on the sidelines.
