United willing to agree deal for €47m attacker with Real Madrid, Spanish giants have already made their decision – report

Manchester United have knocked on Real Madrid’s doors in their bid to resolve Marcus Rashford’s future, as per reports.

Ever since it became clear that he has no future under Ruben Amorim at United, Rashford has been hoping to join Barcelona.

The supposed move didn’t materialise in January, and Aston Villa pounced on the opportunity to strengthen their attack by signing the Englishman on loan. Villa have the option to sign Rashford permanently for £40 million, but he wants to play in the Champions League.

Barcelona showed interest early in the summer, but the Catalan giants are now focusing on securing the services of Spain left-winger Nico Williams from Athletic Club.

Further, according to DefensaCentral (via MEN), United have doubts over Barcelona’s financial ability to pay Rashford’s £40m fee in a “timely manner”.

As such, the Red Devils have approached Real to explore the possibility of finding a new home for their academy product.

It is claimed United have offered Los Blancos the chance to sign the 27-year-old amid their search for a new striker to replace Joselu.

However, it is understood that having analysed Rashford’s profile and financial aspects of a potential deal, the Madrid giants have come to the conclusion that he is not what they need now.

Accordingly, any move to Santiago Bernabeu is described as an “increasingly remote option.”

United find themselves in a tricky situation, as Amorim is desperate to push Rashford out of the door.

Recently, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming the United head coach has decided not to include Rashford in his pre-season tour squad.

Should the England international fail to find a new club, he will be left behind to train at Carrington. Rashford will not be alone though, with Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Jadon Sancho in line to face the same fate.
