United submit offer to sign world-class player as INEOS push to complete blockbuster deal – report

Manchester United have accelerated their efforts to land Aurelien Tchouameni from Real Madrid. Earlier this week, The Peoples Person relayed a report from Spanish journalist Jose Felix Diaz who claimed that United’s hierarchy, led by sporting director Jason Wilcox, are planning to hold talks with their counterparts in Madrid in the coming days. Felix added that Tchouameni is a serious United target, with the Red Devils “willing to spend money” to secure his services, having monitored his development for many years. Manchester United submit contract offer to Aurelien Tchouameni Speaking during Ruben Martin live stream, Jose Felix Diaz has now shed light on Manchester United’s plan to get the green light from Aurelien Tchouameni. The AS Editor, considered a reliable source for Real Madrid news, has claimed that United have offered Tchouameni a “very good” five-year contract. 🚨 | #mufc have OFFERED Aurélien Tchouaméni a “very good” FIVE-year contract. Felix does not reveal the exact figures United have put on the table to Tchouameni’s camp, but underlines that it is an attractive offer. Aurelien Tchouameni to demand Casemiro level wages In a separate report, The Sun alleges that the 6’2″ France international will command a wage packet similar to that of Casemiro, the player he is expected to replace at Old Trafford, having done the same in the Spanish capital. The veteran Brazilian was taking home £350,000 per week in Manchester. This played a major part in INEOS’s decision not to trigger his extension option, despite his impressive performances under Michael Carrick. However, at 26, Tchouameni is entering the peak years of his career so offering him upwards of £300,000 per week would not be a reckless move. The Real Madrid star is arguably the best defensive midfielder in Europe, and INEOS cannot attract marquee names without digging deep into their pockets, especially considering what the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have committed to spending for their priority midfield targets.
