United set to launch exciting new fan-focused initiative ahead of new season – report

Manchester United are reportedly poised to unveil a fresh fan-focused initiative ahead of the start of the new season.

United’s fanbase still as loyal as ever

United boast one of, if not the most loyal group of supporters in world football. Tickets for United matches sell out at record speeds, with the stadium consistently packed to capacity.

The Red Devils enjoy outstanding away support, with their fans consistently loud and passionate at opposition grounds.

And it’s not just in England, with United also enjoying an unparalleled global appeal. When Ruben Amorim’s men beat West Ham 2-1 last month, they set a new attendance record in the United States.

United attracted a crowd of 82,566 supporters – a lot more than the 81,118 that was present for the Club World Cup final between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite United’s decline on the pitch since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement, the fans have remained unwavering in their love and loyalty to the club.

Now, the Daily Mail reveal that United are planning to host fans at Old Trafford for away game screenings.

United to roll out away game screenings at Old Trafford

The newspaper reveals that United are “opening their doors” to fans for away game screenings starting from the upcoming 2025/26 season.

“The new scheme, which will cost fans £25 per match, will see supporters unable to land away match tickets the chance to watch United from the international suite at Old Trafford.”

“In what has been described by insiders as a pub-like atmosphere, the suite will be decked out with big screens showing the games, as well as a bar and hot food.”

“The £25 admission includes one free drink as well as a portion of food in what sources feel represents a value-for-money experience.”

Nathan Salt highlights that season ticket holders can now buy tickets to stadium screenings of United’s first three away matches of the season, against Fulham, Manchester City and Brentford.
