United ready to sanction transfer of €90m star who wants to leave “as soon as possible” – report

Manchester United have softened their stance on midfielder Kobbie Mainoo. After struggling for minutes under Ruben Amorim early in the season, Mainoo requested to leave his boyhood club on loan. Still, United refused to entertain any offers for their highly-rated midfielder.  Mainoo, currently sidelined with an injury, is still waiting for his first Premier League start. It is understood at least 12 clubs are monitoring the Englishman’s situation at Old Trafford. Real Madrid refuse to accept Manchester United’s demands for Mainoo According to Defensa Central, Kobbie Mainoo wants to leave United “as soon as possible” as he wants to fight for a place in Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad. It is claimed Mainoo prefers to leave the Red Devils for a move to Real Madrid. The 20-year-old reportedly dreams of playing for the record Champions League winners.  United have “partially agreed” to let their academy product leave in January, but only on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season. It has been previously reported that United value the England international at €90m. These conditions are “completely unacceptable” to Real, who are not opposed to signing him on a straight loan deal. With Real seemingly out of the picture, Napoli have emerged as the favourites to land Mainoo, claims the Spanish outlet.  Real Madrid and Man United battle for Neves Real are also following Al-Hilal midfielder Ruben Neves in their bid to strengthen Xabi Alonso’s side.
