United certainly cannot afford to buy two from this list given the costs involved; hence, the co-owners are on the lookout for a more economical yet quality option. According to The Daily Mail, Bournemouth’s Tyler Adams remains on United’s watchlist despite his injury struggles this season. The American had to be stretchered off after five minutes during the Cherries’ game against the 20-time English league champions earlier this season. United scouts were reportedly watching the game to see if the USA international could cut it against the likes of Casemiro and Fernandes, but his injury meant the scouting operation remained incomplete. Economical yet quality option Until now. The 27-year-old has returned from his medial ligament tear earlier than anticipated, and the Old Trafford side remain keen should he show no signs of wear and tear during the rest of the campaign.
