United given green light to hold talks with sensational winger, contract worth €20m offered – report

Manchester United are considering making a statement signing after showing Ruben Amorim the exit door earlier this month. Amorim spent around £200 million to improve his forward line in the summer. However, the arrivals of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko could not change United’s fortunes under the Portuguese head coach, who recorded just eight wins in 20 Premier League games this season. Heading into the January transfer window, United explored the possibility of signing Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth. However, Semenyo preferred to play under Pep Guardiola. However, CaughtOffside claim Leipzig’s valuation sits around €100m. Furthermore, the German outfit plan to only entertain offers for their prized asset in the summer transfer window.  Diomande in negotiations with Manchester United Despite Leipzig’s reluctance to part ways with Diomande and their astronomical price tag, United remain steadfast in their pursuit.
