Manchester United are set to shake up the Eduardo Conceicao transfer race, with reports from Brazil suggesting that a serious move is imminent. Indeed, Conceicao is one of the latest exciting talents to emerge from Brazilian football. He has caught the eye with his performances for Palmeiras U20 and the Brazil U‑17 side. As a direct, right‑footed left winger who attacks the box, the 16‑year‑old is tipped to become one of the deadliest wingers in the game. What makes him so dangerous already is the maturity in his game. Unlike many of his peers, he does not dwell on lateral dribbling but instead focuses on verticality and speed. As a result, a host of top European clubs already want to sign him, with Manchester City among them. However, as they dream of signing Dudu, as Conceicao is better known, United may already have the player’s blessing to approach Palmeiras over his transfer. Man United ready £35 million for Eduardo Conceicao UOL Esporte report of the Red Devils: “The English club has signaled to the player’s representatives an offer of 40 million euros, including fixed and variable amounts.” Furthermore, they explain how their noisy neighbours are pushing INEOS to swoop in and try to strike the deal: “The City Group is one of the main clubs interested in the youngster, and United’s management doesn’t want to lose the Palmeiras gem.” Consequently, Conceicao may well have indicated Old Trafford as his preferred landing spot in Europe, which would explain why United are already making promises to his entourage. After all, why would INEOS commit to bidding for him if he had not shown a willingness to join? Joins a list of other exciting young talents United have signed Should a deal be struck, Conceicao would join a growing list of exciting young talents the 20‑time English champions have recently brought to the club. INEOS have been keen to acquire some of the most exciting young talents available, laying the foundation for dominant years ahead. The likes of JJ Gabriel, Chido Obi, Ayden Heaven, and Dudu, if signed, could yet have United boasting one brilliant, unstoppable team before long, and the foundations, it seems, are already being laid.
