United confirm fourth summer signing, electric winger joins from PL rivals – official

Manchester United have formally secured the services of Tynan Thompson from Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham have announced the departure of one of their most highly rated academy talents, stating: “We have reached agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of Tynan Thompson. The 18-year-old winger progressed through our Academy ranks to feature frequently for our Under-18s and Under-21s in recent seasons, and was named in our first team squad on three occasions in 2025/26.” According to Samuel Luckhurst, United have assured the exciting winger of first-team integration, akin to Ayden Heaven. 🆕 We are delighted to announce the signing of Tynan Thompson from Tottenham.
