Manchester United focusing on signing Alex Scott According to The i Paper, United have now “turned their attentions” to Bournemouth livewire Alex Scott. It is understood that no club-to-club contact has been made as yet, but talks are ongoing with Scott’s representatives. The 5’10” wizard has two years left to run on his contract at the south coast. Bournemouth continue to insist Scott is not for sale at this stage. However, it is claimed that United believe a fee under £80 million, the amount West Ham are demanding for Fernandes, could still be agreed with the Cherries for their midfielder.
