Wednesday’s hosts enjoyed a comfortable win against Blackpool in the previous round, setting up a fourth-round clash with the Reds. Despite being held to 1-1 at half-time against the North West side, Stoke took things up a notch in the second half, putting five past their visitors and running out comfortable victors in the end. Nathan Lowe scored a brace in that match, while Oliver Challinor and Jack Griffiths also got on the scoresheet for the Potters.Youth Cup: Palace 1 United 3 GalleryOur young Reds came out on top on a foggy afternoon at Selhurst Park…United and Stoke are no strangers to each other, either, contesting regularly in the Under-18s Premier League.  Last season the Reds got the better of the Potters twice, but they have registered a more recent win over us during the current campaign. Back in September, Stoke defeated United 1-0 at Clayton Wood, with Matty Lusakueno on target for the game-winning goal.  Wednesday promises to be another scintillating clash, and make sure you don’t miss it by tuning in on MUTV* and following updates and images on ManUtd.com and in the United App. *Live broadcasting of this fixture is only available in the UK and Ireland.Recommended:Wednesday 11 January 2023 00:35Back to Top
