The Spanish club have been brilliant in La Liga this season, evidenced by their 3rd position on the league table. Their success has been partially down to Youssef En-Nesyri, who has contributed to 4 goals in 7 league games.

The star striker has now suffered a long-term injury, keeping him out of action for three months. Thus, Sevilla chief Monchi is plotting out alternatives to bring into the squad in January. Real Madrid fringe star Mariano Diaz is on the list, as is Arsenal ace Alexandre Lacazette.

The Uruguayan signed for the Red Devils last summer and led them to the Europa League final. His performances also led to the player and the club mutually agreeing to extend his contract by a year.

However, that entails that the 34-year-old would be free to leave Old Trafford next summer. But given his recent performance, it does not like Cavani is going anywhere.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently changed formations and used it initially against Tottenham Hotspur. He found overwhelming success as Cristiano Ronaldo and the Uruguayan international combined brilliantly.

The veteran is one of the hardest working members of his team and is a real asset to the club.

Thus, it does not look like the Norwegian boss shall allow his star man to leave mid-season, especially when they could still land a major title in this campaign.
