The defender spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Manchester United as Erik ten Hag’s side suffered with injuries in the left back position. Reguilon’s appearance at the Community Stadium comes under similar circumstances, with the Bees missing first-choice left-back Rico Henry due to an ACL injury. The 27-year-old’s 12-game Old Trafford cameo unimpressed to the extent that the club opted to activate a break clause in his deal, nevertheless, Thomas Frank believes that he is a ‘perfect’ fit for his struggling side. ‘This is a very good signing for us.
