Arsenal starlet Emile Smith Rowe this evening joined an altogether exclusive club, after finding the net in his side’s meeting with Watford.

ESR makes the difference Mikel Arteta of course led his troops back into action a short time ago.

On the back of a stellar recent spell of form, the Gunners welcomed Watford to north London, hopeful of joining West Ham in 4th-place courtesy of a 3rd successive Premier League triumph.

And, upon the final whistle sounding on Sunday, this is exactly what Arsenal had managed.

A testing 90 minutes, which saw Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fluff his lines from the penalty spot before later having a goal disallowed, was eventually decided by the aforementioned Smith Rowe.

After seeing the ball drop on the edge of the area, Arsenal’s up-and-coming midfield talent made no mistake with a pinpoint right-footed finish beyond Ben Foster:

As revealed by Sky Sports, ESR, against Watford, established himself as just the 4th player in Arsenal’s history to find the net in three successive Premier League appearances, whilst aged 21 or under.
