Revealed: Real Madrid No.7 attacker had chance to sign for Man Utd

Manchester United are among the sides offered the chance to land Eden Hazard, according to a recent report by Catalan outlet El Nacional.

The Belgian was playing the best football of his professional career when he signed for Real Madrid from Chelsea in the summer transfer market of 2019.

However, Eden has suffered an astonishing dip in stature in the last two seasons, with a spate of injuries hindering him a great deal.

To date, he has turned out just 53 times for Los Blancos while garnering a paltry tally of five goals and nine assists on the way.

Things look to have reached a critical point for the player and Real Madrid, with Hazard being offered to several clubs. One of the clubs who have been given the opportunity to sign Hazard are Manchester United.

The English giants have no apparent need of reinforcement in the attack following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho in the summer.

While Jadon has been experiencing teething problems at United, he is touted for great success at the Theatre of Dreams for years to come.

In addition, with Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford continuing their fine progress, United seem to have a long-term core. That’s why it is hardly surprising that they are not interested in Hazard.
