Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri is optimistic of having a solid campaign on loan at Alaves and has revealed the advice he got from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before he left this summer.
Pellistri signed for Manchester United in 2020 from Penarol and spent the latter half of last campaign on loan at Alaves.
The Spanish outfit wanted him back for another term, but Solskjaer decided to have the player in the Manchester United roster for pre-season.
The attacker impressed in pre-season matches and was again allowed to join the Mendizorrotza Stadium outfit on loan for the 2021/22 term.
The youngster revealed that the Norwegian was clear about him getting regular football next campaign at his next loan club.
He is confident that he’ll have a solid season in Spain and is looking forward to being prepared to face Real Madrid on Sunday.
Facundo told Uruguayan radio station Sport360: “Ole told me, go to a place where you feel comfortable and can have minutes.
“I had a very good pre-season with Manchester. In my head, I will have a stable season in La Liga.
“I spoke with the coach and I don’t think the adaptation will take long. I am aiming to be in the squad and get minutes against Real Madrid.”
