Manchester United are desperate to keep Omari Forson amid rising interest from European and Premier League clubs.
Much of the hype has been surrounding Kobbie Mainoo when it comes to United’s top young talent.
Mainoo looks destined for a big future and United are fending off Manchester City’s interest in the midfielder.
United have other young talents to worry about though with Omari Forson now becoming a priority…
Manchester United desperate to keep in-demand Omari Forson
The Mirror now report that United are ‘battling’ to keep hold of teenager Forson.
It’s stated that clubs in Europe have already shown an interest in signing Forson, with his contract ending in the summer of 2024.
That gives United just a few months to get a deal sorted – and the hope will be that Forson hasn’t had his head turned.
If Forson walks away from his contract and heads abroad, United would receive a minimal compensation fee, which is the worst-case scenario here.

Premier League clubs are thought to be interested too, which could at least bring in a bigger compensation fee if Forson chooses to leave.
United are pushing to keep Forson though, allegedly being ‘desperate’ to see him stay put at Old Trafford.
Who is United talent Forson?
Forson started out in the Tottenham Hotspur ranks before leaving the club for a move to United back in 2019.
The 19-year-old predominantly plays as a right-sided winger but has also featured on the left and even as a number 10.
Forson’s form has been impressive this season, bagging three goals and one assist in just four Premier League 2 games.
Erik ten Hag also named Forson on the bench for United in the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich in September.
Hailed as a ‘creative’ player on United’s official website, Forson appears to have a bright future – and the hope is that he will stay with United.
