Manchester United’s thrilling FA Cup Final win over Manchester City will long be remembered as the ‘Kobbie Mainoo’ final.

And while Kobbie Mainoo deserves all the plaudits from his match-winning display, he was not the only Manchester United midfielder to impress.

On loan star Sofyan Amrabat delivered his best performance of the season, raising the question of whether Manchester United should sign him on a permanent basis.

United are currently deliberating over the future of Erik ten Hag, and then decisions on player personnel will follow.

Galatasaray want Sofyan Amrabat

Manchester United have an option to buy Sofyan Amrabat written into the loan deal, at around £21 million.

While many would like to see United activate that clause, a decision is on hold, and that is giving other teams a chance to enter the race.

Turkish outlet Fotospor report Galatasaray are interested in signing Amrabat, who played against them for United in the Champions League group stages.

The report claims Galatasaray are only prepared to offer 10 million Euros, half Fiorentina’s asking price, working out at £8 million.

It is claimed Amrabat’s Morocco international Hakim Ziyech is attempting to persuade him to move, and that the midfielder is interested in the possibility.

Galatasaray are reported to be worried about interest from Saudi Pro League sides and will look at alternatives if Fiorentina insist on a higher price.

Amrabat in demand

Sofyan Amrabat is in demand at present after a strong end to the season, with Spazio Napoli reporting Antonio Conte is interested in making him one of his first Napoli signings.

TMW have also reported there is interest from AC Milan in the midfielder, while The Sun has claimed there is interest from Crystal Palace and Fulham.

Amrabat has insisted he is open to staying at Manchester United and keen to hold talks.

Speaking after the FA Cup Final, he told Ziggo Sport: “‘We are going to talk. Manchester United are the biggest club in the world, so who wouldn’t want to play football here?

“But all parties have to be happy with each other, so we will sit down now and see what happens.”
