Reaction: The games Pogba will miss as Manchester United star reportedly out for 8-10 weeks

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba limped out of France training on Monday.

He took a shot at goal during his first session of the international break and cried out in pain.

Reports from French outlet RMC Sport claim that Pogba has a thigh injury which will keep him out for between eight and ten weeks.

That means that his 2021 could be over already for both club and country.

Which games will Pogba miss?

Pogba’s red card against Liverpool meant he was already suspended for United’s next game, against Watford.

If the report is true, Pogba will definitely miss games against Chelsea (A) and Arsenal (H) before the end of November.

He also looks likely to miss the end of United’s Champions League group campaign, with matches against Villarreal (A) and Young Boys (H) to come.

If Pogba is out for eight weeks, he will return in early January, meaning he would miss clashes with Crystal Palace (H), Norwich (A), Brentford (A), Brighton (H), Newcastle (A), Burnley (H) and Wolves (H).

Another two weeks out would see him miss United’s FA Cup third round clash and the trip to Aston Villa too.

Has Pogba played his last game for United?

If the report is true, the injury will keep Pogba out until the January transfer window opens.

At that point, Pogba would be free to discuss a summer exit from Old Trafford on a free transfer to foreign clubs.

He of course could leave, with the window representing United’s final chance to recoup a transfer fee for him unless he signs a new contract.

Pogba’s injury would probably lessen the chances of a suitor buying him in January, but with Mino Raiola on the scene, you never know.
