Brighton vs Everton Everton face a trip down south on Saturday afternoon, for a clash with Brighton.

The Toffees have had a decent start to life under former Liverpool boss, Rafael Benitez.

The Spaniard would guide his new side to a 3-1 win over Southampton on the opening weekend of the campaign.

Everton were then held to a 2-2 draw by Leeds United last weekend.

Brighton, meanwhile, have picked up maximum points so far in 2021/22. The Seagulls would beat Burnley 2-1 in gameweek one, before then seeing off Watford by two goals to nil last time out.

Benitez on Richarlison Before Saturday’s game at the Amex, Rafa Benitez spoke to the media on Friday.

When conducting his press conference, the Spaniard would be drawn on Richarlison’s recent links to French powerhouse, PSG.

However, Benitez was quick to quell the fears of the Everton faithful, assuring that the club ‘are not considering selling him’:

“Obviously we have some players that people know are good players. This speculation is something you have to do, but for us coaches we have to concentrate on what we have.

“We are not considering selling him, he is our player.”
