David de Gea – Made some important saves to preserve his clean sheet, showing off all his shot-stopping capabilities. 7/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Superb again on both sides of the ball. Made some important tackles, while always trying to get forward and join in on the attack. 7/10

Victor Lindelof – Super calm and composed. Passing good. Rarely trouble defensively. 7/10

Harry Maguire – Great on the ball. Led the back four well. Ensured his defence was always organised. Good in the air. 7/10

Luke Shaw – Put in the complete performance. Showed great energy all evening and capped off a POTM performance with a goal that was pretty much all his own work. 9/10

Casemiro – Set United on their way with a superb finish from a set-piece. Protected his back four well – like he always does. 8/10

Christian Eriksen – Played in the stunning free-kick for the opener. Always found the free man. 7/10

Bruno Fernandes – Led the press. Got an assist. Was visibly frustrated as he probably should’ve had more than just the one goal contribution. 6/10

Donny van de Beek – Didn’t offer too much before having to go off with what looked like a serious injury. 4/10

Marcus Rashford – Drifted in and out of the match. Went missing at times, but you just knew he was going to get himself a goal. Scored late on. 6/10

Anthony Martial – Worked hard enough. Had a glorious chance with a header. Picked up a knock. 5/10

Alejandro Garnacho – Threatened with his pace. Picked up an assist.

Fred – Brilliant in midfield when he came on.

Lisandro Martinez – Given a hero’s welcome upon his return.

Anthony Elanga – Not enough time to mark.
