Here are your player ratings from Manchester United’s 3-0 loss to Liverpool:
Andre Onana – 4
There were worse performers but he had some shaky moments and didn’t even get a hand on the goals. Like everyone, he’s under review after that performance.
Noussair Mazraoui – 4
He seemed up for it but lost some of his duels early on, which was a problem for most of the side.
De Ligt – 5
Had a shaky moment but was one of the better performers on the team in a miserable game.
Lisandro Martinez – 3
Hasn’t started the season well. His passes were constantly getting intercepted and wasn’t getting first to the ball when stepping in.
Diogo Dalot – 6
The only player who seemed composed for most of the game.
Casemiro – 1
Let everyone down today. At some point, the pride has to kick in.
Kobbie Mainoo – 4
He’s young and as good as he is, there are times when the lack of physicality is evident.
Bruno Fernandes – 3
Another senior player who has started the season poorly. The final ball wasn’t there and he was getting outmuscled far too often.
Alejandro Garnacho – 4
Didn’t have much of an impact on the game.
Joshua Zirzkee – 3
Looked a bit lost in the first half and should’ve scored one in the second half.
Marcus Rashford – 4
Created some good chances and looked lively in the first couple of minutes. Another player whose season hasn’t got going.
Subs:
Toby Collyer – 5
Did as well as he could under the circumstances.
Amad Diallo – 5
Was composed but didn’t create much.
Harry Maguire and Christian Eriksen – N/A
Manager:
Erik Ten Hag – 2
Failing everyone who thought he should get another crack at the job.
