Manchester United are in line to receive a huge windfall this summer as their Premier League rivals plot a bombshell raid to sign Mason Greenwood, according to a new report. Liverpool view Greenwood as an “ideal candidate” to bolster their misfiring attack, with Mohammed Salah edging closer to a move to Saudi Arabia this summer. Similarly, Tottenham Hotspur are “closely monitoring” the Englishman who they believe “fits perfectly” into their style. If either club were to strike a £78m deal with Marseille, United would receive around £26m from the deal – a massive boost ahead of a pivotal transfer window at Old Trafford this summer.
