Diogo Dalot has been pictured back in Man United training following his latest injury.

Manchester United have been on a good run lately, with the Old Trafford club playing some superb stuff since the World Cup.

For the most part, the Reds have done it without Diogo Dalot, who has spent the last month sidelined through injury. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has done well in the absence of the ex-FC Porto man, though having multiple options is always key – particularly when the matches start to come thick and fast.

Over the last 24 hours, United have been given a nice injury boost, with the United star Dalot spotted back in training ahead of the Crystal Palace game, which is always nice to see.

The Portugal international took to Twitter to post a photo of himself out there with the lads once again.

It’s easy to forget just how brilliant Dalot was in the games leading up to the World Cup. The 23-year-old was performing at a super-high level, arguably one of the best right-backs in the country.

Injuries can often scupper the mindset when you’re playing at that level, but let’s hope Dalot is strong enough mentally to overcome that. Hopefully, he can get back to his brilliant best sooner rather than later – as we’re seriously going to need him.

In the Arsenal game, we saw exactly why Wan-Bissaka is a back-up. He made crucial mistakes that contributed towards a tough loss. Dalot has not been making those errors this term under Erik ten Hag, which is why, sooner rather than later, I’d expect him to be back starting matches.

Do you think Diogo Dalot will be thrust straight into the line-up this weekend? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
