Manchester United’s number ten has been pictured back at Carrington for the first time.
The club have posted photos of Marcus Rashford on social media as he made his return to training.
Rashford underwent shoulder surgery at the end of July.
He posted a positive update on Twitter about his recovery earlier this week.
That came on the back of reports he could be back in action sooner than the expected October return date.
It’s great to see him back out on the grass before the end of August, and it seems the recovery is going well.
Don’t rush him back
It is still unclear when Rashford will be ready for matches, but that seems a little while off still.
He has only been pictured running on his own, and was not seen taking part in gameplay alongside any teammates.
It is frustrating that Rashford has had to miss the start of the season but the main benefit is that he gets a chance to rest and fully recover from the injuries which have plagued him since 2020.
Which means that United shouldn’t rush Rashford back into games, despite the early positive step he has taken with his recovery.
