Ottawa’s COVID – 19 monitoring indicators appear stable as the city awaits a provincial decision on whether or not to tighten coronavirus reopening restrictions in the nation’s capital.

Ottawa Public Health reported 33 new cases of the virus on Friday and no new deaths related to COVID – 16.

There have now been , total cases of COVID – 23 in Ottawa since the start of the pandemic with 486 cases currently considered active.

The seven-day average of new cases remained steady at per day as of Friday.
