Ole hints window is over for Man United despite seemingly obvious need

Good window for Manchester United so far

Manchester United have enjoyed a fruitful summer transfer window to date, splashing out over 100 million pounds on Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.

Both signings, though yet to make their full debuts for the Red Devils, are sure to improve United’s side as they look to challenge Manchester City and Chelsea for the Premier League title this season.

However, onlookers on social media still feel that the side are a central midfielder away from competing for major honours.

Solskjaer hints business is done

However, speaking to Norwegian journalists, Solskjaer hinted that the Red Devils were not planning on doing further business this summer.

The Manchester United boss said:

“I don’t think much is going to happen. If something happens, it is a bonus. You never know what happens in the world of football. But we’ve had a very good window. I am happy with what we’ve done”.

United have been linked with a right-back as well central midfielder pair Eduardo Camavinga and Saul Niguez, but are not thought to have held any constructive talks over any potential deal.

United fans, would you like to see more before the transfer deadline?
