Manchester United are determined to land key transfer target Jarrad Branthwaite.

A first bid from Manchester United for Jarrad Branthwaite was rejected last month. In the weeks that followed, it looked like United had walked away.

Instead, Ineos simply hit pause. Manchester United’s interest has been resumed.

Earlier this week it emerged, a second bid was submitted for Branthwaite, which Everton did not accept. Manchester United are not in the mood to give up.

Manchester United to make third bid for Jarrad Branthwaite

Manchester United refuse to give up on potentially signing Jarrad Branthwaite.

The Times report Manchester United are ready to make a third bid to sign Branthwaite, who is described as a key target for manager Erik ten Hag.

No specific details of the bid are divulged, however, it would be an increase on the second bid of £45 million plus £5 million.

Everton want £70 million, however, Ineos do not want to pay this kind of fee for any player this summer.

Branthwaite has returned to begin pre-season at Everton, with talk over his future swirling.

Branthwaite wants Manchester United move

One of the key factors driving Manchester United’s interest is the knowledge Branthwaite is keen on a move.

The Times previously reported that Branthwaite has already agreed personal terms with Manchester United.

He is keen to make the switch to Old Trafford, which is half the battle won for Manchester United.

Combine this with Ineos’ desire to get the deal done, and you would expect a compromise will eventually be struck with Everton.
