Arsenal’s business to date Arsenal have had a busy summer so far, bringing in five new faces for a combined total of well over 100 million pounds, but may not be finished yet.

The Gunners finished eighth in the Premier League last season, but have since added Ben White and Martin Odegaard to the side, with Sambi Lokonga, Aaron Ramsdale and Nuno Tavares all joining the club as backup options, too.

They have also parted ways with several fringe players, with Lucas Torreira’s departure following Matteo Guendouzi, Dinos Mavropanos and Joe Willock, while Sead Kolasinac and Willian are both subject to transfer speculation.

Arteta hints business isn’t over yet In what will come as massive encouragement to Arsenal fans, Mikel Arteta has hinted that Arsenal’s summer business isn’t over just yet. The Gunners have been linked with a move for a new right-back and central midfielder, and Arteta refused to confirm that the club’s efforts on the transfer front are done in his latest pre-match press conference, saying:

“We’ve already done a lot of things. Ins and outs – it’s a lot. I think it’s 16, 17 deals in total, with some renewals, & there are still some things to do in the last few days because there are still some question marks & deals that can happen. We’ll see.”

Could the Gunners be intent on bringing in further players as they look to bounce back from a horrific start to the season? Or will the remainder of the window be taken up by squad trimming ahead of the player registration deadline?

Arsenal fans, who would you like to see arrive before deadline day?
