The French international is currently in a long-drawn-out transfer saga. He is in the final year of his contract but is yet to agree to a new deal.

If new terms cannot be agreed between the two parties soon, he shall become eligible to leave the club on a free transfer next summer, unless United wish to churn out a transfer fee for him in January.

That is the barrier the Red Devils shall have to cross to keep the midfielder at the club. However, this is not the only off the pitch issue of the player. Club compatriot Nemanja Matic recently revealed in a Q&A that the Frenchman often gets mad in the dressing room, albeit in a jokingly manner.

“The funniest character in the dressing room is Paul. Paul always gets angry, and it is funny to watch him. Erm, someone else… no, I will say Paul.”

However, until this is taken in the wrong way, it is all good and fun.

The results have not been good at Old Trafford and the midfielder has often cut a frustrated figure, most notably after being sent off against Liverpool last month. Pogba recently picked up a thigh injury during training with France and could be out of action until the end of 2021.
