Manchester United v Reading team news

Anthony Martial has already been ruled out of the game by Erik ten Hag, despite returning to training with the squad.

Antony and Scott McTominay are doubts for the game, with Alejandro Garnacho, Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek out injured.

Casemiro begins his domestic suspension in this one, which means Marcel Sabitzer may well return to the starting lineup.

Manchester United v Fulham: Our prediction

United’s home form has been exceptional this season, and that could make all the difference in this one with a place at Wembley in the semi-finals at stake.

Fulham ran us all the way in the Premier League fixture at Craven Cottage and Casemiro’s absence will make winning this game harder.

We’ll go with a 1-0 home win, but if Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes decide to take the game by the scruff off the neck, United can make it a more comfortable afternoon’s work.
