Video LoadingVideo UnavailableManchester United travel to the Midlands to take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday evening. United beat Villa 1-0 in the FA Cup on Monday night thanks to Scott McTominay’s early goal. However, Villa would have felt aggrieved to be knocked out of the competition considering their strong performance and they’ll be aiming to atone for that defeat. Villa boss Steven Gerrard said the two teams meeting again this weekend was ‘an opportunity to flip the mood’ for his players. United started the New Year with a defeat in the Premier League, losing 1-0 to Wolves at Old Trafford last week, and their displays are yet to improve following Ralf Rangnick’s interim appointment. At present, United are six points behind fourth-placed West Ham. Rangnick’s side do have two games in hand on the Hammers, though, and a win against Villa would be a serious boost to their top four hopes.
