Manchester United interested in Brazil Under-17 star Wendeson Santos Dell

Manchester United appear to have unearthed a gem at the Under-17 FIFA World Cup. The Premier League giants are known for their faith in youth and currently have quite a few talented youngsters on their hands. However, the Red Devils are always on the lookout for further additions to their squad, with their recent approach in the transfer market heavily focused on youth. United have had their eyes on South America of late, and signed Diego Leon from Cerro Porteno at the start of the year. Recent reports suggest that the English giants are monitoring several Brazilian talents, including Vitor Roque, Allan, Breno Bidon, and Rayan. It now appears they have set their sights on another emerging Brazilian talent. United monitoring Dell According to Fichajes, United are interested in Bahia forward Wendeson Santos Dell. The 17 year old has caught the eye at the Under-17 FIFA World Cup, scoring a brace in Brazil’s 7-0 win over Honduras. His performances have earned him admirers at the Theatre of Dreams. The Red Devils invested in their attack this summer, but are also putting plans in place for the future. The Premier League giants have already sent scouts to Qatar to monitor the teenager as they look to add more quality to their youth ranks. While Dell is yet to break into Bahia’s senior team, he has already caught the eye with the youth side and is expected to make the leap to the first-team squad soon. A future superstar Bahia are aware that their prized asset could be on his way to Europe soon, but would prefer to keep him for a little while longer. Dell’s pace, direct style and eye for goal make him a lucrative target for United. However, the report adds that the English giants may have to be patient before they can get their hands on the teenager. The Red Devils are looking to regain their lost glory under INEOS, who are planning for both the present and the future. While Dell isn’t ready for first-team football just yet, he has all the ingredients to become a future superstar. As such, the move could prove to be a masterstroke from United in the years to come.
