Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly been informed that they will have to pay £81.5m to secure the services of Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho during this summer’s transfer window.
The 20-time English champions were heavily linked with the 21-year-old forward last year, however, were not prepared to meet their asking price, which was thought to be £108m.
The Red Devils are believed to have reignited their interest in the England international and appear determined to push through a deal in the upcoming market.
According to The Mirror, Man Utd have been told that they will need to come up with an offer of £81.5m to secure his services in the coming weeks.
The report suggests that personal terms have already been agreed, however, the two teams are still in talks over the structure of the payment, with Dortmund keen to receive most of the money up front.
Sancho, who is currently with the England national team preparing for Euro 2020, has managed to found back of the net 16 times and registered 20 assists in 38 games at club level during the 2020-21 season.
