Man Utd eyeing move for Wolves creative midfielder

Premier League giant,s Manchester United have not given up hope of securing the services of Ruben Neves this summer, according to the reports.

The Wolverhampton Wanderers playmaker has been on the radar of the 20-times English champions throughout the transfer window, however, a deal is yet to be struck between the two teams.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already strengthened his team with the arrivals of Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho as he looks to mount a title challenge in the English top-tier this season.

90min claims that the Red Devils had hoped to fund the signing of Ruben Neves, who has been valued at under £40m, by selling players, however, they are yet to find buyers for the likes of Donny van de Beek, Jessie Lingard and Phil Jones.

The report adds that Wolves would be willing to sell their prized asset for the right offer, although Bruno Lage has claimed that he does not want to see Neves departing from the club.

The 24-year-old has played 177 games for the club since joining them in 2017, helping them to make a promotion from the Championship and then consolidate a place in the Premier League.
