Manchester United reportedly want to have Paul Pogba’s decision as to whether he will remain at Old Trafford by Christmas.
The Frenchman is in the final year of his deal and is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from January.
According to The Sun, United’s hierarchy are keen for Pogba’s situation not to cast a shadow over the second half of the season.
It’s claimed that the club have kept an ongoing dialogue with agent Mino Raiola, in the hope of agreeing a new deal with the 28-year-old which could be worth upwards of £400,00 a week.

United remain hopeful of tying Pogba down to a new long term deal, with United’s ambition in the transfer market reportedly helping to persuade him to stay.
Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have both been linked with moves for the former Juventus star, however, Real’s main priority will be to sign Kylian Mbappe in the summer.
Pogba has been in excellent form for United this season, registering an impressive seven assists in nine appearances.
Meanwhile, United have ‘ramped up’ their interest in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, according to reports.
The combative midfielder is out of contract next summer and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, via The Daily Mail, United are one of several clubs looking to steal in and make a move in the January transfer window.
It’s added that the uncertainty surrounding Pogba’s future is why they are showing an interest.
