Manchester United are plotting an incredible swoop for Arsenal teenage sensation Myles Lewis-Skelly. According to the The Independent, Lewis-Skelly has been of long-term interest to United.
He has mainly featured at left-back for the Gunners, but operated as a central midfielder in the final part of last season, even starting their for Arsenal in the Champions League final. It will not be easy to sign him as he recently signed a long-term deal until 2030 last summer.

Real Madrid may sacrifice Tchouameni
Real Madrid’s quest to sign Rodri for Manchester City could see Aurelien Tchouameni be sacrificed. The Frechman has been heavily linked with Manchester United.
According to El Nacional, Real Madrid may look to sell him so they can put the funds towards purchasing Rodri. This is a boost for the Reds, as it suggests they may be willing to sell Tchouameni to the club.
Arsenal make breakthrough with former Man United transfer target
Arsenal have agreed to pay Newcastle United £75m to sign Bruno Guimaraes. Towards the end of last season, United were heavily linked with the Brazilian.
However, United’s transfer targets changed and they instead signed Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, and are also currently eying Manu Kone and Aurelien Tchouameni. While any chances of Guimaraes coming to United were all but killed off weeks ago, he now looks set to move to the Gunners, according to the Newcastle Chronicle.

Man United told who they must sign next
Manchester United supporters have demanded the club to sign Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni. The Frenchman has been linked with the club for many seasons.
But with United in need of a new top central midfielder, an Express Sport poll of United supporters have voted for Tchouameni to be their next signing, with 32% respondents wanting the Frenchman to join.

Jarrod Bowen £15m claim
Manchester United have long been linked with a move for Jarrod Bowen and they could be available for as little as £15m next summer.
According to talkSPORT, Bowen can leave West Ham for as little as £15million if they fail to win promotion this season.
They also report that Bowen’s previous release clause as a Premier League player was significantly higher.

Jorge Salinas makes transfer decision
Jorge Salinas has been linked with a move to Manchester United – but he wants to join Barcelona this summer.
That’s according to Spanish publication Sport, who are reporting the young full-back only wants to join Barca and has informed those close to him that moving to the Catalan club is his priority.
The report goes on to claim that Salinas believes Hansi Flick’s project and Barcelona’s commitment to developing young players provide the ideal environment for his continued growth.

Radek Vitek set to join Middlesbrough
Manchester United goalkeeper Radek Vitek is reportedly closing in on a move to Middlesbrough.
The Daily Mail are reporting that United are inserting a buy-back clause into the deal, and the club is pleased with the outcome.
It is also claimed that Vitek wants to be a No.1 after impressing while on loan at Bristol City in the Championship last season.

Manchester United ‘close to appointing Eva Olid’
Manchester United are close to appointing Eva Olid as the new head coach of their women’s team, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Marc Skinner left his role as United head coach by mutual agreement after five years at the helm of the club on Monday.
Skinner had another year to run on his contract but has decided to move on a month out from United beginning their Women’s Super League season at London City Lionesses on September 4.
And the Telegraph is reporting that United believe Olid, the Spanish coach who led Hearts to the Scottish title last season, is the right person to lead the club forward.

Altay Bayındır latest
Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayındır is closing in on a move to Celta Vigo.
The La Liga side completed the signing of Abdoulaye Faye on loan from Bayer Leverkusen on Monday.
And now according to Spanish publication AS, via Sport Witness, Bayındır will be Vigo’s next signing, and will arrive on loan from the Reds.

Young French striker in first team training
United youngster Enzo Kana-Biyik took part in first-team training at Carrington on Tuesday. United signed Kana-Biyik on a free transfer from Le Havre last summer before sending him on loan for the season.
The young striker joined Ineos-owned Lausanne-Sport. Kana-Biyik made 26 appearances for Lausanne across all competitions, but only six of those were starts.
Kana-Biyik is expected to remain with United in the new campaign as he enters the next stage of his development, which means he will play for the Under-21s and receive first-team exposure in training.
Utd face Chelsea transfer battle
United and Chelsea are reportedly set to go head-to-head for Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi.
The Colombian center-back is under contract until 2027, but Bologna’s failure to secure a long-term extension has opened the door for a move—despite successfully warding off interest from Sunderland last summer. According to SportWitness, competition for the 26-year-old’s signature is rapidly intensifying.

Ugarte supported
Manuel Ugarte has been supported by Manchester United teammates after sharing an update on his recovery from injury. The midfielder faces a significant period on the sidelines after being stretchered off during Uruguay’s 1-0 defeat to Spain in the recent FIFA World Cup.
That loss and injury were compounded by another blow, as it ended the South American nation’s hopes of reaching the knockout stages. The 25-year-old suffered the injury after an inadvertent clash with his own team-mate as he and Mathias Olivera both challenged for possession late in the first half.
Olivera reached the ball first and, in the aftermath, fell onto the United player’s extended leg. The unfortunate incident saw Ugarte stretchered off in tears.

Jadon Sancho ‘agreements’
Former United winger Jadon Sancho has ‘agreements’ in place with several clubs ahead of making a decision over his future, according to Sky Sports.
The reports says that he has agreed deals in principle with clubs in Europe, Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and his now assessing his options before making a final decision over where his future lies.
Sancho left United at the end of his contract this summer, after loan spells with Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Former Unied boss refuses to rule out role
Former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has refused to rule out the possibility of returning as Netherlands head coach as the nation searches for a replacement for Ronald Koeman.
Van Gaal has had three separate spells as the Dutch manager. In an interview with Voetbal International magazine, he said:
“I always want to help the KNVB (Dutch football association), just as I wanted to do at Ajax. And with a squad like that, there are possibilities, and I think that the Netherlands could potentially still become European or world champions, because 95 per cent of the squad plays abroad and mostly at good clubs.”The only thing at play is that they can’t find anyone at the moment, and then my name comes up again. I find that unbelievable in a way.””Anyway, I don’t know at all what the KNVB wants, and I have already been national coach three times, so if I ever do something as a trainer again, you probably shouldn’t look for it in the Netherlands. Although you never know with me. I feel fitter than four years ago.”
£20m financial boost
A multi-year training kit sponsorship deal with BetWay is set to provide a financial boost of around £20 million per season for Manchester United.
The club have announced the deal, which will see the company’s logo on the men’s and women’s training kit. There will also be branding around Old Trafford on matchdays.
In a statement, Marc Armstrong, chief business officer at United, said: “We are delighted to welcome Betway as official principal partner.
“The scale of our exciting new partnership reflects our growth strategy, the enduring global strength and appeal of Manchester United, and our ability to attract leading brands that want to engage with our vast worldwide fanbase.

Man United in Chelsea transfer race
Manchester United have made a move for Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi, according to reports.
QuotindianoSportivo claim that United are showing an interest in the player and are making a move, but they face competition from several clubs.
Juventus, Como and Nottingham Forest are all said to have made offers for the player, but have so far not been successful. Lucumi is said to be only keen on a move to a ‘big club’, with Forest seemingly ruled out.
Chelsea are also said to be showing an interest, having sold Trevoh Chalobah.
Bologna are said to be demanding a fee of €25 million (£21.4m), plus €3 million (£2.6m) in bonuses.

United ‘excited’ over Marcus Rashford plan
Marcus Rashford could become a key player in the Man United squad under Michael Carrick, with plans that will see him involved in the first team, according to TEAMtalk.
Speculation continues to swirl around the forward, who has spent the last 18 months out on loan away from Old Trafford.
The report adds that Rashford, who is due to return to training this week, is expected to be involved in the friendly vs PSG at the weekend. It’s said that Carrick and his coaching staff are ‘excited’ to welcome the England international back into the fold.

Who should United’s next striker be?
This feels like such a difficult question considering the role that player will have to play. Sesko is the starter for United next season, all being well, but the Reds need someone who can push him and offer another option next season. It’s difficult not to tread over old ground but Welbeck would have been perfect for this role. Only time will tell why United were not in the race this year. He is the profile United need but can they find another Welbeck on the market?

A deal that will see Lewis Hall move from Newcastle to Manchester United is ‘higly complicated’, according to the Athletic.
Newcastle are said to be privatley insisting that the full-back will not leave the club this summer. The Magpies have already cashed in on Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali, while it looks like Bruno Guimaraes is closing in on a move to Arsenal.

Midfielder decision to be made
United are reported to be ‘considering’ to put resources elsewhere in the transfer market instead of signing a third midfielder in the summer window.
The Athletic reports is ‘not certain’ that a third central player will arrive at Old Trafford following the signings of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans.
The decision could be influenced by the impact of Mason Mount during pre-season, with the midfielder being a standout player in a deeper role in all three friendlies so far.
Instead of midfield, United could instead focus on other positions, including left-back.

Fernandez would be an amazing signing – but it’s unlikely to happen
You can never say never in the transfer window – particularly after Jordan Henderson signed for Chelsea – but a deal for Fernandez seems out of reach. Unless the Chelsea star pushed significantly for the deal, the Reds would need to pay top end for him and that just doesn’t seem likely this summer. What an amazing signing that would be for United, if they were to pull it off.

Ollie Watkins stance
Manchester United are not set to reignite their interest in Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, despite reports linking him with a move to Old Trafford last week.
The Athletic report that United are not planning on making a move for the England international after showing an interest last summer, before they signed Benjamin Sesko.

Myles Lewis-Skelly sent advice
Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly has been told to stay and fight for his place at Arsenal, amid interest from Manchester United.
The 19-year-old is reported to be on United’s list of left-back options this summer as they look to strengthen the position.
He found himself struggling for regular game time at in the first half of last season, but has been told by former Arsenal man Jack Wilshere to remain with the Gunners.
“Last year was interesting to watch for Myles because I think he probably never experienced that,” he told Sky Sports. “All the way through the academy, him and Ethan Nwaneri were probably always the best players in their age group. The academy have done a really good job of giving him the right challenge at the right time, but then all of a sudden he faced a bit of adversity. I was really happy for Myles with the way he managed it.”Forget the ability and all of that, the one thing that I love about Myles is his character and personality and he’s never let that leave him. When I’d watch on the TV, it would sometimes go to Myles on the bench and he would still cheer every moment. He’s a character who wants to feel love and he gives a lot of love as well.”He obviously found his way at the end of the season playing in the Champions League final, in my opinion, in his best position. I’d like to see him stay and fight for it because I believe he’s good enough to find his way in that team. I believe he can do that.”
Bruno Fernandes replacement identified
Manchester United havse identified Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White as a potential replacement for Bruno Fernandes, should the captain leave the club, according to the Daily Mail.
The reports says that the midfielder grew up as a United fan and ‘idolised’ Wayne Rooney. He aspire to play as high as he can, including in the Champions League.
Fernandes has one year remaining on his current deal with United, although the club have the option to extend that by a further 12 months.
The report adds that there appears ‘little prospect’ of the midfielder moving on this season, meaning that United won’t make a move for Gibbs-White.

Reports yesterday claimed that Turkish side Fenerbache are ready to ‘break the bank’ to sign Marcus Rashford from United this summer.
Should they make that move and a deal is done, then it would see Rashford re-united with former United teammate Mason Greenwood.
The forward joined the Turkish giants last month in a £33.27 million deal from Marseille.

United told to make shock Chelsea move
Manchester United should make a move for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez to replace Casemiro, according to former Premier League striker Emile Heskey.
United are on the lookout for more midfield reinforcements before the end of the transfer window, with Fernandez identified as someone who could make a difference at Old Trafford.
“Midfield is an area that Manchester United can definitely improve, and Enzo Fernandez would help,” Heskey told BoyleSports.”With Casemiro leaving earlier in the summer, they need to replace that presence. He had a very good end to the season and will be missed.”I think Enzo Fernandez could be the one to come in and replace him. And if they get him, I can see them as title challengers.”They’ve always had the players, Manchester United, but the systems played by previous managers haven’t always suited them.”If they get the system right, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be challenging Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool for the title.”

Norwich City sporting director Ben Knapper has said that he expects the club to sign a left-back in the next 24 for 48 hours, amid links to United’s Harry Amass.
The full-back is one of four young players reportedly told he can leave the club this summer. He spent the second half of last season on loan with the Canaries.
Speaking to BBC Radio Norfolk, Knapper said: “We are very, very close. I would like to think that within the next 24-48 hours, we’ll have something to tell you about.
“Lots of work going on. We’re not quite there yet but we’re honing in.”
